Auto-reconfigure Windows firewall.
When running for the first time it would be great if CoPilot could add an exception for itself the Windows firewall software like many applications. Most of our failed connects are due to the client's Windows firewall. Trying to guess how to add an exception is kind of a pain.

We are working on a tweak to the homepage to address this. Although there haven't been a ton of votes here, we have gotten this feedback enough at this point to warrant updating it.

Support accessing computers that are not logged in or locked planned
Sometimes the computer I'm remotely accessing is not logged in or the login is locked. Make it work more like remote desktop connection or gotomypc where you can login or unlock the PC remotely with copilot.

Provide online utility to measure connection speed
It would be helpful if the helper and the person being helped could test their current connection speed before attempting to connect and make sure they're above whatever standard you recommend. Even though both may have a "broadband" connection, sometimes connection speed is still way too slow. Happended today. This way I wouldn't have to pay to find out our connection speed is too slow for the service to be useful.

Connect to more then one computer at a time
Would it be possible to connect more then one computer at a time. Like a net meeting idea?
Do you mean a many-to-many connection where people can hand off control of their machine to others?

Auto-fix helpers name planned
When I log-in, the helper name is automatically filled in with the name I registered with. So far so good. However for some technical reason, accented characters are deemed invalid.
It would be nice to automatically replace theses characters (é, è, ö, ...) when the helper name is filled in at login.
We're going to fully support Unicode charsets, which should eliminate this problem from the other side.

keep having connection issues on the mac, it's frustrating. i want a single invitation code to keep on working. don't make users or i download new files...

Email alert when helpee connects and helper not connected.
When used to support a commercial offering there are cases where you request a remote control session with a customer and e-mail them their invite code from FogBugz. However, they don't look at the e-mail (and connect) until several hours later when you are no longer connected. In this case, it would be great if CoPilot would e-mail the creator of the invite code that a user was now connected with that code and waiting on them.

send alt key to host
currently the helper refreshes the screen if the alt key is pressed. I want to see the menus highlight on the host when I press the alt key, just like it does locally

Restore wallpaper on disconnect
I think this worked a few months back so it might be a bug, or I might do something wrong.
Twice in the last few days users have reported that when I disconnect after a Copilot session their wallpaper isn't restored, but stay black (client OS were XP SP3 & Vista SP1+Aero).

allow helper to show their desktop
Sometimes, rather than me seeing my helpee's desktop, it's easiest to explain something if they see my desktop rather than work on theirs. Basically, Copilot in reverse...

show conectee name in downloaded helper app to allow reuse
As a oneclick subscriber, when I click connect I get a download that is copilot heloer 1, copilot helper 2 etc. If the download would name the download to match the helpee, it would allow reuse and easier operation
